Jimmy Bunty

Jimmy Bunty is a writer, researcher, and the founder of Dad’s Parlor — a space for curiosity, craft, and independent thought. He writes literary horror that explores what makes us human, drawing on history, folklore, and the stories passed down through his family. He lives in Texas with his wife and three children. Jimmy Bunty grew up in his grandfather’s automotive machine shop and has been around cars and hot rods all his life. In adulthood, he developed a love for exploring whiskey and is a credentialed whiskey-enthusiast. He is a Certified Bourbon Steward by the Stave and Thief Society and has a Certificate in Scotch Whisky and a Certificate in American Single Malt from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy.
